Is there any way to modify the Quick Launch section using the tools provided by SharePoint Services 2.0? If not what are the other alternatives? I don't need to add icons or pictures (although that would be nice) I would like to change what is there by default...just simple links....

Documents
Shared Documents
Pictures
Picture Library
Lists
Contacts
Tasks
You get the idea of what's there already...I would love to get rid of the things there I don't use....Picture Library, Surveys...etc..Any help is much appreciated.

Figured out how to remove certain items and add items I've created...now one final question...

How do i change the order of the Quick Launch bar?

frontpage 2003 is the solution.

open up your site in FP, and change the order of the links

Arrrrggg, and you have to use FP2003? Correct?

the only editor that currently supports wss.

don't aargh B-) because it's a fine product. Forget all about the previous version(s) and get used to it. You can't manage sharepoint services without it....

No, I have always liked FrontPage as a product, but not the price....and now I have to buy yet another version....that's where the arrrrgggg comes in....thanks again!

How exactly do you edit with Frontpage. Im a DW user so bare with me. Can anyone kindly guide through the steps? What files do I modify? Thanks [wink]

Nevermind. Easy emough...

File > Open site > Type in the URL of the site, then enter authentication information.

Have another question tho. Where are the files stored for the site? What is the default location?

Well I finally obtained FrontPage 2003, and must say I am impressed with the control you have over the customization of WSS. Anyone, have a good link to SharePoint icons, themes, examples, templates, etc..? pref. free, but a small fee (shareware) is also acceptable...
