I have created a couple of web sites using MS Publisher. After having a bit of play with Frontpage I found it much more powerful (duh!). I actually sucked my web site into Frontpage to try and have a fiddle with it. It was easy enough to modify what is already there but trying to add or copy and paste new things into it is a major problem. I wish I had started using Frontpage from the start! Is there a way of easily modifying ex Publisher sites in Frontpage?

Been there, dune that! Even the "Duh" part.

Publisher puts all kinds of tables and formatting into its web pages. Bite the bullet and start over. You can cut and paste from one to the other, but you will spend more time trying to convert the Publisher mess to a workable web site.

Publisher is a great program, and I have done numerous documents with it. I was thrilled when I saw that you could supposedly generate a web site from it, so I charged in and made what I thought was a beautiful site.

Microsoft should really take that option out because it only looks like it does. It gives a newbie webmaster a false sense of accomplishment.
