modify report error in run-time

Hello everyone, I imported my software written in foxpro 2.6 for windows in visual fox pro 9.0. Everything works fine and then slowly rewrite all screen. But I have a problem with the report, each customer has custom reports and each one can customize them alone in the run-time with the command "modify reports." I have to make sure that in the run-time if you open an old report appears in the screen of automatic transport report instead of the error message.

MODIFY REPORT works in VFP9, too. Is it FRX?

Yes. If i open my report written in FOXPROW 2.6 in VFP9 i can import the report, but if I open it in .exe file I get the error window

It seems something is wrong with the FRX. But there is no problem with MODIFY REPORT. Your FRX just must be a separate file, excluded from compilation, to be able to save modifications.

open the report first in the vfp9 IDE... you'll get a conversion dialogue which adds a new field to the .frx.

alternatively you can USE the .frx exclusively and (if i remember correctly) add a new column USER M

(you should probably check that last by comparing a fpw26 frx with a vfp9 one)
