hello, my company used a group of college seniors to code a help desk ticket management system. I am tryin to assist the next group in making some changes to the email notifications, however, we can't find where they originate. We've looked in all of the aspx pages, database agents, etc, and can't find where they are configured.

The noftifications currently email our techs all high priority tickets every half hour. Everything is written in asp.net 2.0, with sql2000 as the database. Any ideas where alter the schedule?????

I took a look at all of the windows services that are currently started and did not see anything that looks custom. I guess it could fall under an application service of some kind..??

You'd be better off trying to ask in one of the windows forums to see if there is any monitoring software that may assist you as it's not an ASP.NET issue.

Well you should have all of your code in a source control system such as Microsoft's Visual Source Safe. I would get access to that, and check all the projects etc in there for the code you are looking for.

cased closed: we had a cold fusion webserver that was executing a scheduled task which was sending out the alerts. Our new application doesnt have anything built in.
