Hi I wonder if any of you can help me, I have a problem with a system whereby the modem is not being displayed in the Device Manager yet when I run Network Troubleshooter it picks up the fact that the modem is there and installed. I cannot reinstall the modem, and I cannot uninstall it as I can't see it in device manager. The system is Win XP Home SP2, Athlon XP1700+ with 256mb RAM, Modem is Intel HaM Plus V.90 Modem. I am at a loss to explain why I can't see or use the modem.

Can anyone help please?

The network diagnostics output is below.

Thanks

Andrew

Thanks for the reply bcastner, I couldn't solve it using the list, so have had to reinstall - now working now think I must have had some nasties on the system which had screwed around with things, because any network cards that I added to test were not showing in device manager either!

Cheers
