Modem not detected as V92

Hello. I've got a robotics internal v92 modem but my win xp does not detect it as a v92 but only as a v90. i tried to overwrite the win xp driver for the modem with the one on the cd i got with the modem but it didnt solve the problem. how do i make win xp detct it as a v92?

Dosent v92 give you the option to have the internet connection 'froze' so you can answer the phone, because with v92 it tells you at least thats what i understand by it

A lot of "V.92" capable modems are shipped as "V.90" and you have to d/l the V.92 update from the manufacturers website.
