I would like to read a power meter using an analog modem connected to an IP500v2A. Unfortunately, no handshake is occurring. Does the IP500v2A support modems on its analog ports? If
so, what configuration steps are required?
ipo version is at 11.1.3.2
Thx in Advance

I have used an analogue modem on an analogue port and I don't recall any specific setting.

Not sure what trunks you have but analogue modems don't play well with SIP trunks and you will get reduced speeds but probably not an issue for your task.

You could try forcing a lower speed on the modem.

IP Office has an embedded modem but only on Analog Line port #1 and has to be activated manually by a internal user via the default SC *9000*

I thought that was just for inbound remote access.

That's it ipohead, it was used just for maintenance access, not for dial up connections
