Mode Code with External Calls`

Hi all

I have a Rightfax server set up and I'm trying to use Mode Code with it. MCI is turned on and in theory it's all good to go.

If I dial from an internal extension Rightfax picks up the line, receives the digits and routes to the correct fax inbox.

If I dial from an external number, I get no DTMF tones sent at all (it's a PRI with incoming caller ID etc.).

Any suggestions ?

Not using any coverage paths at the moment. I'm just dialling straight in whilst I'm testing and trying to get it up and running.

ok but what is the path from DDI to RightFAx (Vdn + Vector + Hunt with Mode Code Messaging or direct translation from trunk to trunk), What's about COS : Trunk to Trunk transfer and Tandem calls.

I gave the hunt group a DID so I'm dialling directly into it.

So i think you should try Vdn + Vector (route to 'hunt group extension' with cov y) because Vdn is an extension wich will call another hunt group extension

Nope. Still no digits passed unfortunately. VDN > Vector > Hunt Group.
