Hi
I lost all my paper wk and my cd on my mobo due to a flood we
had here in texas, so how do i find out which brand of mobo do i have and chipset

Most computers have serial numbers on the case. Armed with that info, Call the manufacture and asked them. David W. Grewe

Thanks David for the reply, but my system was built by a Plumber (me). The problem I have is that i installed a DVD-ROM
and when I ran the test is says to install ide or bus master
driver.
 
There should be a FCC approval number on each piece of hardware. Quite often you can identify the unknown manufacturer, and their ID number, by searching for the FCC id number at the FCC site
