At the client what we want is this (We have this working with another carrier):
We want to call from an IP Phone(Lets call it Side A) to another IP Phone (Lets call it Side B) that has mobile twinning enabled.
On the twinned phone, the Side A Extension number, should appear on the screen of the Mobile Phone.
If we use the shortcode given by the carrier to call to the mobiles directly (9XXX) it works has it should, however this doesnt work with mobile twinning.
What we have currently at the client is the following:
Extensions are configured has 4XX
The carrier wants us to send a 6 digit "extension" wich they have configured on their side.
For example: for the extension 411 we have to send 0821XX where the 2 X's would be 11 wich corresponds to the last 2 digits of the extension.
Our problem with mobile twinning is that we cannot send the corresponding 6 digit "extension" (that the carrier assigned, for example: 082111) wich is Extension 411 on our PBX through the Mobile twinning of extension 415(for example).
To try to simplify things what we need is:
When calling from 411 to 415 we need send has "extension" to the carrier the number 082111 so that it shows in the screen of the twinned mobile phone the caller extension (411).
We cannot use the "SE" rule because the only matching digits on the carrier short code/Internal PBX Extension are the last 2.
This PBX is part of a 3 SCN and changing extensions is really not an option.
Also, we have contacted the carrier and they told us that they cannot change their MO.
Any sugestions on how we can solve this?
Cheers
