Help!!!!

IP412 w/ both MMM chat and MMM email licences, CTI pro, CCC server and agent licences all showing up valid.

iServer Configuration and Resource Manager configuration tools both setup exactly per the docs. Tested DB connectivity, works fine. Tested IPO licencing, also works fine and reports that it sees 35 agents (which is correct).

My happy little world comes to a crashing halt when I then try to launch Resource Manager. It fails with an error dialog box that states "Problem with ReadLicencing" and will not let me get any further. If I try to start any of the services, I get a whack of errors show up in the Application log but I strongly suspect they are related to an unconfigured Resource Manager - all going back to the ReadLicencing problem.

Has anyone encountered this error before? I'm using a clean install of Win2K Server, more than adequate specs, on an IP412 w/ 2.1.24

Even if you have not encountered this error, please, I am more than open to guesses at this point! :)

Thanks in advance!!

PS non-MMM CCC stuff works fine. Running on a domain, able to browse and see other computers, including the PDC which is running exchange 2000.

ps to above, CTI link pro is working fine also, able to use outlook contacts dialer to make any of the phones in the system dial.

How do you do that? It has confirmed that it sees the Chat and Email licences - where does it indicate the presence of MMM?

As part of the reporting the Delta server collects info from the MMM if you do a search on the delta server it should find the system and MMM check both both.

However in saying this I think you have a bigger problem than that with all the errors. I haven't had those errors before

Problem solved! Even though I learned the hard way not to try and install MMM on a 2003 server platform, it didn't occur to me until this afternoon that it would be a problem for the primary domain controller to be 2003! Well, it was - apparently the changes to AD between 2000 and 2003 were enough to bring my poor MMM to it's knees.

Thanks for the assistance!

Update: Don't know if it was important to switch the DC to 2000 server now or not. Turns out the real difference was having a LOCAL session logged into the CCC server. I rebooted the CCC server remotely, and the exact same set of errors came back until I got someone onsite to login to the CCC machine locally and leave their session open. After that I could open a remote session and launch resource manage, etc. Go figure!

Ok, this beast is up and running now. However, none of the multimedia reports show any emails - only calls are showing up. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

When you open Delta Server are you selecting the MMM server as well as the IPO ???

You have to select both in the Delta Server when it boots up otherwise the MMM reports wont increment.
