Hi,

Anyone here already configure Caller ID on S8300/G700 using MM711? i already verify to the telco provider if the caller ID feature is enable and as per telco it is already enabled. And properly configure the trunk and the system features.

Any configuration guide regarding caller ID feature using analog trunk and MM711 card?

Thanks!

I had this issue before, we installed a caller ID box in between TELCO and PABX.

Yes, on the Trunk Group form, on page 3, lower right side,
"Receive Analog Incomming Call ID:", try setting it to "Bellcore"

I have done this with MM711's, and it has worked for us.

Hi Mitch672,

Thanks for the reply but i already set this parameter to bellcore still doesn't work for me. Can you provide me a configuration guide regarding caller ID on MM711.

Thanks,

Thats all I had to do. I would suggest you get a Caller ID buttset or box, put it on that phone line and verify that Caller ID is being sent...

Hi Mitch672,

yes i've already done that. I've put an analog phone with a caller id box and there is a number appearing but when i put it back in the pbx still same responce. Ive already change the receiving analog caller id to Bellcore but i receive from my 4610 ip phone is still the name of the trunk not the party calling number. Do you think there is another field that i need to enable.

thank you for your usual support.

This is exactly my problem before, configuration parameters are correct. Analog phones with built-in caller ID feature is able to interpret the digit coming from the Telco but going to the PABX there's none. Try to to source out called ID box in your place.

Try setting the station type to callerid instead of 2500.
Display caller id to yes.
per station cpn to yes.

You can try a different type of CallerID, have you tried all 3 of them, listed? Bellcore, NTT, V23-Bell?
