Modular Messaging V5.2 (9.2.723.15000)
2x MAS on Windows Server 2003
1x MSS on RedHead Linux

I have a MM with 2 MAS and more than 5000 mailboxes in use.
After a longer network failure now I can’t edit any User.
I have searched at 1027 events and find a lot of “MSS failure (SMTP) - critical problem delivering outgoing messages to the MSS. [Reason :RCPT command failed.]” Errors.
The “C:\Avaya_Support\Tools\FEDBQueryGUI “ tell me deviations between MAS1 and MAS2. Now I hope with stop The MM and FEDB-Sync the System is already running.
(C:\Avaya_Support\Tools\FEDBSync\FEDBSync.exe)

Now my questions:
With more than 5000 mailboxes how many time run the FEDB-Sync?
Must the FEDB-Sync run on MAS1 and MAS2 ore only on one MAS?
How can tell me a step by step list?
If this doesn’t work what’s the next step?

Sorry for my bad English and best regards

That could be the issue but did the name change ? If it did then you would need to get the cert redone.

OK, thank you.
Is there a step by step guide for MSS and MAS?

Do you not have access to the Avaya support site ?
