MM outlook integration issue

On a 3.1 MM deployment cannot use outlook integration with MSS. When set up appropriately (per avaya tier 4) get a pop up when trying to expand the vm folder "unable to expand the folder. Invalid Parameter

Wich Outlook version do you use? MM3.1 supports up to Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007 might require MM 4.0, which we're going to upgrade in 2 month.
