MM 3.1 upgrade not available?

Anyone know what Avaya is thinking when they will not sell MM 3.1 upgrade anymore? I have s3400 servers and was told I cannot go to 4.0 on those. We are running 3.0 and want features in 3.1.

There is no migration path from S3400's to 4.0. You can only go to 3.1 (with some functionality) on S3400's. Avaya is due to release MM5.0 shortly and you'll need to buy S3500's for anything beyond R3.1.
