Mlutiple lines and auto answer problem

Hello,

I replaced an R3 card with an R7 in a chassis that has a R5 VMS. When a call comes in, it rings once and then a second line lights up and rings. The person calling in gets a messge "transferring to receptionist". I have disabled AA and checked everything. Also, i hve set the remote password using extension 10 and it works up until i load new trnslation using the admnistration program. After that, i have to re-enter the remote password using extension 10. Is there a problem with the new card or with new card and the old VMS or do i not know wht i am doing ?

the rel 7 has a extra station port as a result

you have changed the vm station numbers you need to change hunt group 7 to reflect the change.

 
Would you be able to tell me which ports i should assign to hunt group 7 ? I have an ACS R7 and a 308EC as well as the VMS 5. Does the VMS use the first available extensions after the other cards are assigned theirs ? I tried 27 and 28 but the same thing happens.
 
ACS R7 have extensions 10 thru 18

If the 308EC is in the far left slot then it would be extensions 19 thru 26.

The Partner Mail VS5 woul be extension 27 thru 32.

If its a 2 port license for voicemail your ports would be 31 and 32.
4 ports would be 29,30,31,32
