Hi,

I'm facing a problem with multiple data providers,

I'm having two qureis
SAP BW Query and
Oracle Query

When I'm suppressing the records from SAP BW Query which are not present in the Oracle Query. It's a forming cartesian product and displaying wrong result.

Senario is
In My SAP BW Query i'm having field called Geo_Code
Oracle Query also having Geo_Code
When I'm suppressing the records in the BW Query which are not maching with Geo_Code present in two queries
When i'm doing this using the select expert under x+2 area
I'm getting cartesian product and getting more records which are not expected.

Question is :

How to combine two queries SAP BW and Oracle based on non_key columns.

Regards
Jayaram

Well, you post your software version as a start...

You might consider bringing them in as linked tables to MS Access, then in Access CREATE a UNION ALL query and then use the Access query as the data source for your report.

Thanks for your prompt reply,

Im using Crystal XI, Business Objects XI with SAP integrator provided by the Business Objects.

Is it is not possible to create union query with SAP BW and Oracle queries.

Meaning that you can't link the tables into Access?

If you can link them, Access can createa UNION ALL from them.

But I'm not sure what you want as output, so this may not be helping anyway.

Hi,

Let me explain in a detail way...

My SAP BW Query fetching 100 records
Oracle Query fetching 50 records

My goal is to show 50 matching records from both the queries
and show summary for all 100 records comming from SAP BW

All my measures comming from SAP BW only

One option is to use a main report with 100 records from SAP.
Insert a linked subreport to show the matching records.

Without more detail on how you wish to present the data it's tough to suggest exact layout.

Cheers,

Hi,

My requirement is

SAP BW Query fetching records like

Product COde QTD $ QTD Q
x 120 140
y 100 120
Z 200 400

Oracle Query fetching records like

Product COde Geo_code Region
x A B
m E C
n F D

I have to show in the report Like

Produce Code QTD $ QTD Q
x 120 140
_____________________________
Total 420 660 ( Total of all from BW Query)

When i'm doing the suppress operation with condition (BW.Product Code <> Oracle.Produce_Code)
its forming cartesian product and showing summary differently

Is this behaviour because of the SAP BW and Oracle Queries
Synchronization is not happenning.

Thanks
Jayaram
