I have four oversized maps that I need to add to an InDesign document. The rest of the document is set up for printing on 8.5 x 11 inch sheets. The four maps will be printed on tabloid (11 x 17) sheets.

While I'll probably have the printer insert the maps anyway -- they'll need to be dog-leg foldeed -- I was wondering if I could include the maps within the document itself with a different page size rather than creating a separate file.

Thanks.

Brad, InDesign doesn't currently let you mix page sizes in a single document. You'll need to put those pages in a different doc.

Thanks for confirming it, AdobeTim.

hi b2beck,

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think your problm isn't much of a problem. Your maps are double the side of the width of your initial setup. So just Place the maps on your spread (two adjusting pages). Than your printer has no problem.

You must take care that you use some bleed for your maps (going over the 8,5 X 11 setup)

Hope this helps
