When trying to change the system ip i get the following message: "Ensure 'System IP Address' does not conflict with DHCP, PPTP CLient IP or L2 Switch IP configurations. The address cannot be on the same subnet as the WAN interface."

What could cause this message - 3300 DHCP is disabled, no entrys at all; WAN interface is disabled,...
I'm at a loss, thank you for your advice.

Best regards !

Hey,

I’m pretty sure this is just a warning telling you to make sure that there are going to be no conflicts. I have seen this happen before and after checking everything I just continued.

Let me know if that’s not the case and I will try and assist further.

Regards,
Wishforall

This isn't just a warning, since i cannot proceed at this point, it isn't possible to save the changes; there must be a conflict or something like that !?

Is it an option to change the IP while the system is rebooting?

If so, change it via the Serial port

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

No, it isn't ! Tried it from ESM / "System IP Properties" form

The only thing I can surmise is that there is something you aren't telling us. Not intentionally, but just something you are not noticing

Have you tried assigning an IP address to the WAN port?

Yes, I have tested - this configuration is accepted by the system, but is configured out again.
The system is currently in operation, but the IP network must be changed.
What is the procedure, which forms have to be considered in this case - if necessary in which order?
The internal DHCP is configured, otherwise there is no special feature.

You are rebooting to change the IP address? You have to reboot to set the IP address. The IP you are allocating is not in the DHCP range or configured for some other service on the system; are you sure? So is internal DHCP configured or not? If it is then check the settings and the list of served addresses and any reservations in the dhcp forms.

why not reboot and then interrupt the boot on the console

then use bootChange to set the new IP

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

It probably is referring to the possibility that the IP you are trying to change to is within your DHCP scope.

I'm trying to change for this full info config to this new full info config

Follow these steps to re-address a controller:
1/ New RTC IP Address
- change IP address in System IP Properties form
- change Network elements form
- change ICP/PBX Networking form
(At this stage you might need to reboot, I think I did)
2/ New E2T IP address (not the same address as 1/)
- Open Putty session #1 "raw" to port 2007 on RTC
- Open Putty session #2 "raw" to port 2002 on RTC and issue the ToggleCpu 1 command
- Watch the session #1 and wait until it says space space space space.... hit space 3 times and then hit enter.
- press c. You can't backspace here, so on any line that you need to change you have to delete, then save then start again to add the right info. Type @ and then hit enter to reboot the E2T.

Many thanks to all of you, I had to interrupt because of another project, I will spend the days looking at it again and give feedback.
