MiVB Cluster - Remote Tel DIR 2

Hi, I just added a new node to a cluster of 2, now 3 in total. After adding the 3rd node, the new members I add to the third node are propagated without issues.

Also, in the third node I can see users of node 1 and 2, however, the remote telephone directory form on node 3 is blank, therefore unable to call from node 3 to rest of nodes.

Any hint? When I sync from node 1 to node 3 it says it completed but found some issues, possible cause earlier software version. all three node have the same 9.1 load.

i would start with a gdn repair userandservice and a reconcile cluster and rdn on all 3
then another full share

Hi Bill, I have issued the GDM Check command on nodes 1 and 3 and no issues found.

Can you be more specific on how to reconcile cluster?

What Bill means is the new reconcile command:

RECONCILE CLUSTER AND RDN

Qualifiers:

None

Purpose:

•Removes the existing DoNotSpawnReconcileCCNetworkTable flag.
•Triggers reconcile cluster and RDN table directly.


Details:
You cannot run this command during an SDSsynchronization. Conversely, you cannot perform SDSsynchronization while running this command.

Example:
Entry: RECONCILE CLUSTER AND RDN

System Response:

Startingreconciliation for Cluster and Remote Directory Numbers views.
This maytake some time, depending on the number of users and hosted services programmed.

The reconcile command did the trick. Honestly I didn't recall that command from recent Update courses.

Now I see the RDN in the recently added node.

yep thats the first step these days

i have had issues with extensions that werent showing in users and devices
reconcile one brings them back in
