Ok guys, here is what I got.

I'm trying to set up a day/night mode for a customer that they can turn on and off manually. They are on a hosted platform, so switching the system into night mode is not an option. Here is how they want their call flow set up. During the day, incoming calls ring into a hunt group. First alternative is set to forward onto voicemail, which is trough Nupoint. Mailbox for this hunt group is a call director with their day menu. They want to be able to forward this hunt group to another hunt group that is forwarded always to voicemail. This mailbox is also a call director that controls their night menu.

The problem I'm running into is that when the first hunt group is forwarded to the second, it isn't tagging the correct mailbox. It will play the day greeting instead of the night greeting. I've tried several different reroutes and even tried setting up the second hunt group as a nametag hunt group and it still isn't working. I couldn't find any documentation on this and I spent an hour and a half on the phone with a Mitel tech and he couldn't figure it out.

Does anyone know if this is even possible or am I just wasting my time?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Have you considered simply using the call director Scheduling or override?

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

Try this.
Create a Multicall for the main number.
Create a Name Tag HG for the Day AA (Matching NuPoint Mailbox for Day)
Create a Name Tag HG for the Night Menu (Mathcing NuPoint Mailbox for Night)

Set Multicall to re-route always to the Day Name Tag HG (Day, Night1 and Night2).
Both Name Tag HG's are re-route always to the NuPoint (Day, Night1 and Night2).

When you want to switch to night mode set forwarding by using third party FAC to forward multicall to Night HG.

We couldn't use call director scheduling or override. They wanted to be able to control the schedule themselves and whenever you enabled override it would still ring into the hunt group and they wanted it to go straight to Nupoint.

I worked with Mitel for several hours and here is what we got to work.
Create an ACD Agent group with no members.
In the Agent group select option: Queue Callers To Group When No Local Agents Are Logged In and Present - YES

Create an ACD path - Add the new Agent group as Primary Agent Skill Group ID
Select Option - Interflow Enabled - YES
Interflow Time out Minutes
Interflow Time out Seconds 2
Interflow Point Directory Number - Name Tag HG that RR always to VM ( for the Night message)
Then Call Fwd the Main HG to the new ACD path for "night"

We only got this to work on trunk calls. It did not work internally.

Did you try my suggestion?
I have this set up at a site that uses a multicall forwarded to name tag hunt groups depending on what mode they want to be in.
All hunt groups are RR always to NuPoint.
This allows Day AA, Night Message/AA and an emergency message using 3 mailboxes.
