Does anyone have the programming instructions to install a wireless handset on a Mitel 5340 IP set?

What sort of wireless headset ?

if its the Mitel dect or bluetooth - there will be a module to attach to the back of the phone.
Install it and press the button on the module to activate it and hold down the headset button to pair

if its a 3rd party - connect its cord to the headset hole of the phone and program a headset key

if it has a lifter ( to take the handpiece off the hook) , connect it to the handset hole ( no headset button required

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

You replace the base of the handset with the charger base, being careful to not pinch the wires as there is not a lot of room in there. Add the appliance on the back, rock it in place with the top portion touching the phone first then screw it into place. Go to your blue key menu to pair a device, press the button on top of the appliance until the stalk lights, press and hold the top of the rocker switch until it asks you if you want to pair the device...you are done st that point.

If its the Mitel wireless handset its pretty simple in that there is no "programming" as much as there is interaction between the set and the module. Did a wireless headset recently and basically pushed the button on the module in the back of the set then used the blue key to enter the options on the set. Once there its wireless devices or some such and you can chose to pair with the headset. You would think they would put the instructions with the set module but they don't. Go figure.

You can't duct tape stupid.
