Mitel VM Question

We have set up 2 VM extensions on a phone, 300 and 700 are the extensions. The 300 is the actual extension and the 700 extension is not attached to any phone and when dialed is automatically forwarded to the VM box. The problem is the message states that the person is currently on the phone, when actually the person is gone. Anyway to change this message? I know this question was answered before, but setting up the VM box on a phantom bay has not worked.
Currently using an SX-200 ICP.

I have left the key as a mailbox for the message indicator light reason.

I am almost there I can feel it. Ok, I tried your idea on my current ext and it worked. The issue now is do I have to set up each x700 to be an extension rather than just a mailbox, which it is now currently and then manually forward each then change them back? Sorry I do not know how to call forward a mailbox that is not attached to a phone.

from the console:
function-attendant function-stations (enter station number)-call forwarding-choose the call forwarding you want and press save-on. This is dependant on the console having the ability to do this in its cos. I am doing this from memory so it may not be exact but should be close.
Now we know the application a little better we can progress, I am going to try the key line and message key on same phone, I have done it on a SS4150 sub attendant and a pkm but will try on another phone type. Strange they don't want to answwer the call but that is their application. I will post what I fing with the above, if it doesn't work it is a good day, learned something else from this forum.

I am guessing I do not have a console, since I am not sure where to enter function-attendant and function-stations on a phone or what keys they would be.

do you have a 4150 sub attendant?

No we are currently using the SX200 ICP, and we are using 5215 and 5224 phones.

Do you have release 4 software or access to the My Administrator application software?

If no to both, you're left with moving the phone to a real port and forwarding manually.

as promised I tried the phantom key line and message key on a phone and it works, in this post though if the set is cfa not much use for key line appearance.
