Mitel Training

Does any one know where can I get some classes for Mitel.
Our organization is looking to train some people for our Mitel system. Is there some classes over the internet? also how much do they cost?

I believe you need to have a Mitel certified distributor or vendor of support "nominate" you for classes. Last year they were about $1,500.00 for basic moves/changes, systems administration. If you are looking for certification that is another matter entirely.

Is there a Mitel vendor that can nominate me for clases or certification, Our Mitel vendor is not a really nice company.

What system do you have?

Mitel has both classroom and virtual training on some of their products. Most application training is handled via web training. Once you are certified there are regular update courses available for all training courses. Pricing varies but update courses are normally free ( or at least we never have had to pay for them ).

Mitel typically doesn't provide training to end customers but you can get access if you are nominated for a training account by a recognized VAR. Not sure if a VAR will be willing to nominate you if you are not a customer since it ties you to them.

The single biggest problem with communications is the illusion that it has taken place.

You can try logging onto Mitel.com and creating a username and password, there may be some free online courses you can complete.

The only way to get access to end user training from MOL is to be nominated by a dealer. Once that is done you have access to both on line and leader led end user training.

Like I mentioned before our Mitel dealer is not the best our there, we will keep trying on getting the training.
