Hi
I've MItel sx2000 redundant Cab. Plane A ( Active )is working fine with LW 29. I change the hard disk on plane B and formatted with:
vol form disk sysuser load $8000 red $ 10000 scr
and it's formatted , When I try to restore using the following commands
Vol restore sysuser from other

could not restore volume from other plane with name: sysuser Reason: No permission.

Activity Plane is ON
and plane A HD set with read only.

What shall I do to enable the permission
BR

It's been a while, maybe you need to be mounted to the drive? What does "vol info" on the inactive plane tell you?

I could be mistaken but I recall that restore sysuser can only be done from RSD

I suppose you're entitled to your opinion, I'm just not going to suppose very hard.

Is the activity freeze on and does Plane A think it is Partitioned?

As caknfd said, you will need to be partitioned.

You will also need to set the active plane to read only using the command: vol set sysuser read only

You can check the read/write status using: vol info *.sysuser

You will need to set it back to read/write before 'joining' using: vol set sysuser read write
