I am installing a Mitel SX200ML(RM) control cabinet and peripheral cabinet into a new building for my client. I have mounted them in a (some other cable guy's) rack with RJ45 patchpanels. It is powered-up but not connected.
I have Amphenol cables ready to punchdown 20 - 50 extensions to get them started in their move from the old building. I have multimode fiber patch cords for interconnection between the cabinets. I have about 20 misc handsets (4xxx models). The extenion cabling is in place and landed to the panels.
Two of the seven analog dialtones will be turned-up in the adjacent closet tonight with the balance up in a week or so.
I don't have a laptop to communicate with the pbx, nor a buttset, and I am trying to find my toner and punchdown tools.
Go live is 9/2/08. I need to get at least the couple of dialtones to hit the switch so I can discover if this thing works or not, right away. It was bought about 6 years ago and all I have to go on for now, is an invoice of the components purchased and password, etc.
I have programmed professionally-punched-down Definity and Intertel boxes.
Now can I say hellPPP!? Really though, it doesn't seem too dificult, with just a little nudge in the right direction. Thanks for reading. I can send pics if you need them.
