Changed ground start lines to loop start
Out going calls works fine
Incomint calls are not coming into the system
Changed trunk card
Problem remains
Any ideas?
It's been years since I worked on a sx200.
Is there a form call Trunk Service Assignment where you assign the answer point for incoming calls?
And then associate this TSA to your circuits?
jumpers are set correctly
what should I look for in the discriptor?
thanks
i have already have these in the discriptor
is this CO - yes
DTMF - yes
Loop start - yes
I know it shouldn't matter on LOOP START but try to reverse the polarity. I assume you can start the trunk with a butt-set. Sometimes, the carrier changes the start type at the CO switch but if service comes through a SLC96 the subscriber cards need to have the LS/GS strapping changed as well.
I suppose you're entitled to your opinion, I'm just not going to suppose very hard.
this all started when we had the carrier (AT&T)change ground start to loop start
they said they had to change a card on their end
after two attempts they finally got dial tone at the demark
i suspected its their issue and had them come back
all they did was to check dial tone at the demark which was fine and left
any ideas
thanks
Is there sufficient ring voltage from the central office? You should see 80 to 105 VAC 30 Hz when ringing in. Mitel specs suggest it can be as low as 58 VAC and still answer the call.
