I have a Mitel SX-200(EL/ML) running Lightware 19. We've experienced a few instances where the system has either locked up or 'rebooted' itself. Presently at around 2am this Sunday it appears to have rebooted or somehow went offline and came back online itself. I checked the logs and I am seeing the following messages...HILAP ERROR 3 and HILAP ERROR 6 repeatedly at about the time the system was unavailable. They seem to alternate the 2 numbers in the code every 3-5 seconds. I've searched all the Mitel documentation I can find online and cannot find any reference to these errors. From the looks of it maybe these 2 errors repeating so frequently they are filling the system log and thus the system maybe goes through a process to flush the logs and thus the system is unavailable at that time? After this series of repeating errors I get the following...tot alarm went from major to minor alarm level change due to bay 01 lines...then I get this...tot alarm went from minor to no alarm alarm level change due to bay 01 lines. Then two other error messages...cp process recovered from software error #01 and #02 trap 13 at address = 01215eac. Nothing else in the log after that at the present. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Chris

Can't really help with the specific errors but the system is designed to reset if there is so many(can't recall how many but 51 comes to mind) of those CP Prosses Errors or at a specific time if there is any. and by default I think it was set for Sunday @ 2:00am. If you have acces to maintenance Press 1 for System then 1 for Show and the 8 for Reset Time it will show you the schedule and I believe if there has been any faults since the last reset if you need to change it you Press 1 for System 2 for Set and 8 for Reset Time.

Craig,
Thanks for the info...this helps confirm my suspicion that the log filling up is causing the system outage on Sundays(I guess it doesn't always get reported as there's not always someone there trying to use the phone when it goes offline.)
I was able to get a printout of what is in the log and the error is actually MILAP instead of HILAP. I've seen a couple of other references to MILAP errors on these forums but nothing definitive as to what they mean. I'm going to continue my search I suppose.
Thanks again.
Sincerely,
Chris

I meant to post this earlier...system info from heading of terminal session in maintenance reads...SX200 LW19 Q46.0.1. It's a 5 cabinet system w/ analogue trunks.
