At work we have a Mitel SX-200 LW17 with a PRI for inbound/outbound calling. Our caller ID number when dialing out is different from our main number. That's a different issue, but for the purpose of this post, the last four digits are 2500. Our block of DIDs ranges from XXX-2500 to XXX-2599. Our main number ends in 6400 with a different XXX. On our front desk phones, they have a LDN with extension 6400 for our main number. Is it possible to have the 2500 DID also ring on the 6400 LDN? We have three Superset 4150s at the desk and a hunt group won't work because we can't use a pickup group to pick up the call away from the desk and because it only rings one of the phones at a time like a hunt group should. Any solutions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Easient method is to create a bay 7 (phantom Bay)
Then Add a Phantom Analog Card
Then Program 2500 as an analog station an assign it to be in its own tenant
then for that tenant use the Route DID calls to this tenant and point it at 6400

@kwbMitel
I had a spare analog circuit, so I just used it. Set it to extension 2500 on tenant 4 (unused until now) and then set in Form 19 "DID Routing For Calls Into This Tenant" to 6400 for Day, N1, and N2. The call rings, but the LDN does not. Is it necessary to create a new bay?

It may be significant that I always use non-existent cards and bays.

If you are using a real port it might act differently. With a real port you can forward to zero and route the zero point accordingly.

Working now. I just set it to call forward always to 6400. Works great!

Adding to my last post, I didn't have to change the tenant either. Just left it as tenant 1.

Forwarding is not tenant dependant unless you want to change the routing based on day night mode. Then you forward to zero.

I would make sure that your night mode works before you sign off.

We don't use day/night mode. It is configured, but never used. I didn't change anything with the tenants, though. If you mean day/night routing 2500 calls, I'm really not concerned since we don't use it.

Okey dokey
