We moved our PBX to a new location. Our PBX is set up with 6 analog lines for inbound/outbound calling. When we moved we retained our main line, but had to change the 5 other lines.
Does changing any of the line numbers on the ports affect the inbound rollover? When we call in, it picks up the first call, but any subsequent calls are busy.
It's been quite the ordeal dealing with phone provider to get the transfer of the phone/DSL in order. They were originally supposed to set the hunt/rollover group with the 5 lines resolving to the main, but they didn't up until yesterday. I had to place a new order, which they said would be completed by the evening. After hours, I tried calling in and same issue with busy.
So, I'm not sure if they haven't got around to completing the hunt/rollover, or if in fact there's a moification to be done on the PBX to refelct that ports 2-6 now have new lines. I wouldn't think so, but not sure. I'm fairly green with the PBX, but I assume that all that's required is to have th provider rollver the 5 to the main number.
Thanks
