Hello,

We have a Mitel sx-100/200 switchboard system. I have a question about forwarding calls:

1. Can we auto-forward all incoming calls to a particular extension on the system?

2. Can we auto-forward all incoming calls to a completely seperate phone number, i.e. a cell phone number.

3. Is there a capacity to add a cordless phone to the switchboard?

Any help would be GREATLy appreciated.

Please clarify what you mean by Auto-Forward.

Tell us what you want to accomplish NOT how you want to do it.

We are a family-owned business and cannot always be in the office to answer calls (which are received on the switchboard). We want to avoid the following situations:

1. When we are sleeping at night, having to get up each and every time the phone rings and go to the office (which is connected to the house)to answer the phone.

2. When we are working in the back of the motel, we don't want to miss incoming calls to the switchboard in the office.

What you are looking for is Night Service switching. The SX200 has 3 modes of ringing. Day mode is obviously setup to ring the console.

Night1 could be setup to direct calls to a cordless phone or to the Managers suite phone or both if the phone in the managers suite is analog.

Night2 could be used to direct anywhere you deem appropriate.

Also, in day mode, the calls can be programmed to ring the console first but then forward on no answer to the Night1 destination.

Thanks so much for your help. We have the motel system, so it only has Night 1 mode. Being the novice that I am, I have no idea how to program the Night 1 button to have a specific destination. I looked in the manual but it didn't have any thing in there either..any tips?

Thanks again...

You will need to contact your service provider to reconfigure the system.
