Its been a while ,but on the super console 1000 the up/ down volume buttons control ringing when the console is ringing, if I remember do the also raise and lower handset volume when on a call.
Is there some programing also required with that.

Thanks

Des

yes the volume is controlled by the up/down buttons on a call, no programing

My memory may be faulty but I do not thing the Up and Down keys affect handset volume at all. Or at least at one time this was the case.

Ringer volume and Programming navigation only.

What's most important is that you realise ... There is no spoon.

Mitel Superconsole 9189-000-301-NA on the 200 product line the volume up and down does work for sure and from the docs:

"Adjusting the Handset and Headset Receiver Volume
The Volume keys adjust the volume of the console ringer and the volume
of the handset and headset receiver. Although you can have a handset
and a headset connected to the console at the same time, the receiver
volume for each is not individually adjustable; any volume adjustments you
make affect both the handset and the headset.
To adjust the handset and headset receiver volume while a call is in
progress and the console is not ringing, or while the console is idle:
• Press ∧ repeatedly to increase the volume or ∨ to decrease it".

Thanks guys ,seems to be one of those things no one is quite sure about because on the older consoles it didn't work. The console I have is a 000.016 Pandabear yours works cause its newer. Not sure when someone at Mitel thought that might be a handy feature to have,.

no problem, that is why I included the part number as older ones may have not, I don't have an old console to try.
