Mitel MiVoice Business - Incoming and outgoing calls keep ringing for phones that are not online

Greetings,

I'm in a bit of a predicament where the DID of an offline Mitel phone keeps on ringing even though the phone's offline and the same goes outgoing calls for a mobile phone that is switched off.

Usually, if a phone is switched off, we get a message from the service provider saying the phone is "switched off" for a mobile phone.

Any way to fix this? The system's a Mitel EX-Controller running MiVoice Business Rel 10.1

do you have an alternate destination for the destination extension ?
Reroute 1st alternate , reroute 2nd alternate , fwd

There's no particular alternate destination that I am aware of.

1 is set for 1st alternate, and 2nd alternate for Mitel phones, which is from what I know to be for voicemail.

But the real issue is when calling a switched off external number and not getting the message "your call cannot be answered at this time" from service provider.

Also, this issue wasn't on the old system that was being used which was an old Avaya DEFINITY system.

What happens if you call the DID extension from an internal extension?

It basically says that the number is out of service when calling the DID extension.

do you have any intercepts configured for the trunk ?

Just an interconnect restriction and that's it.
