Mitel Mass Import - Form ?

Hello,

I would like to do a mass import with a lot of users.

In the form provided on the MITEL, I'm not sure of the reference of my equipment.

Indeed, in the online help indicates CX-II

Do I have to choose CX or CXi?

When I wanted to try an import with the creation of a single line at the end of 25 minutes, it wasnt finished yet and I have to cancel. What can explain these delays?

I've download the file 3300ICPImportSpreadsheet (XLS)

Wich one allow to select Platform.

I've select CX.

When i Choose the template 'User and Device templates', a new sheet is created.

I've complete this one.

I find it much easier to export a form from the working system and then edit it for my purposes.

I have never used the import generator form. - worse than useless for the reasons you are having difficulty

Once a form is exported, especially with the User and Config Form, there are some fields that must be deleted prior to editing and configuring for import. Specifically, and field that looks like a long string of hex numbers MUST be deleted.

Theory:
Set up one phone for each type you need to create
Export the form to .csv
Edit out all of the details that are specific to those phones. i.e. Extension, Names, Hex identifiers
Copy each "blank" line for the quantity of phones you need to import
input the new set specific info for each phone
Import.

Reality:
Once your form is set up make sure you attempt a couple of trials first.
Import a single phone on the first attempt
If successful, import 10 on the next
if successful, go for it
If not successful, keep trying with singles until you figure out the issue and then go for it.
