Hi,

We have an SX-2000 system w/ an old Mitel mail server desktop machine.

Our users are wondering what is the "limit" of voice-mail messages they are allowed before their mailbox is "full".
Apparently, a user's mailbox has reached capacity.
I asked about deleting the voice-mails but they want to know a number...

I know we have a 250 user limit on licenses and total mailboxes.

Anyone have any ideas?

the old Mitel Mail by Centigram had the parameters in the LCOS, if you go to the assigned LCOS for that mailbox you will see the maximum.

The maximum limit via LCOS is 72

If you need more...

There is a way to link mailboxes to increase this limit at 72 messages per mailbox.

There is a feature COS option for overflow mailboxes and they are linked via distribution list 1.

It is transparent to the user. They only have to log into 1 MB to retrieve all messages.

If we need mroe than 72, which is plenty in my opinion - I'll consider linking other mailboxes!
