Hello, can anyone tell me how to access voicemail externally from a remote location. Any help is appreciated. Thank you :) AJK

You should be able to call your extension and when the greeting starts, hit * twice and it should prompt you for the mailbox number you want to log into. The other way would be to call the vm pilot number if one is set up on a did line and interrupt the vm system greeting with 1 * then follow the same as above.

Hope this helps,
Dale

you can also set up a did number for your voicemail hunt group. once this is dialed you will get the auto attendant greeting, either the default or whatever you recorded. once you hear this you can press * once and enter your mailbox number. this gets you to the same point as you would when you dial the voicemail huntgroup internally.

this should do the trick. i use it all the time. good luck

Thank you Mitelpassion. Things worked out okay. I appreciate your help. AJK
