Hi Guys,

I Am Experiencing A Little Problem;

I Am Working With A Mitel 3300icp, the problem is that when night service\cor is enable for a phone, external calls are forwarded fine but internal calls do not forward to the other ext.

Any Assistance Is Highly Appreciated.

Show us the results of the maintenance command:

Locate feature extension XXXX

Also the settings for call rerouting

Define "ordinary" I really want to know what if any forwarding is set. Please provide txt or snapshot of locate feature XXXX. This command also tells me what type of device we're dealing with along with many other thing you might think is ordinary

What you've provided shows the calls for zero routing to 3507 in night mode. Are the internal callers dialing zero, is this the correct destination.

So basically at night they enable night service which should forward all calls from 3500 to 3507 right, but for some reason calls from internal extensions rings at 3500 and is not forwarded to 3507. Calls from an external number gets forwarded to 3507 fine.

IP Device ID: 7
Circuit Location : 1 3 1 7 1
Extension : 3500
Active Features :
MAC Address : 08:00:0F:24:0C:15

IP Device ID: 8
Circuit Location : 1 3 1 8 1
Extension : 3507
Active Features :
Phone Lock: UnLocked
MAC Address : 08:00:0F:26:E1:C6

Well actually, no.

Nothing is set on 3500 to make any calls go to 3507

I can see that the zero routing point is set to go to 3507 as I mentioned earlier. If the internal callers dial zero they will go to 3507 but if they dial 3500, they will ring 3500.

I suspect that there are actually other keys on the phone that are routed to 3507 (external termination point) and this is why yhe external calls are ok.

Are there any other devices in the call routing table that route to index #4 during the night other than 0 that you provided earlier?

Can the internal people simply dial zero?

thanks again for all the help, i am thinking to set call rerouting night1 & night2 for ext 3500 to assignment 4.

based on what you said if they dial 0 when night service is enabled it should reroute to 3507.

With the routing the way you have set it, 3500 will now also go to 3507.

Keep in mind that the VM will still integrate with 3500.

Also keep in mind that if 3507 is busy, odd things may happen when dialing zero or 3500. It is worth testing the system with 3507 busy to make sure that everything goes as expected.
