Hi. I have set up an analogue line which I can ring out to an external number and ring internal numbers on it. Internal numbers can ring it however external numbers cant.

What do I need to do to enable and external caller to ring this analogue line direct?

Thank for that but I am still none the wiser. Can you explain?

If you provided some more details, we could be of more help.

Okay what details do you need? What is trunk service assignment? 4 ISDN lines coming in if thats what you mean. DID?? main number is 800 and this particular 860. Hope that helps.

DID = Direct Inward Dial, as in, the last 3-4 digits of the phone number match up with an extension number.

So you have 4 ISDN lines, I'm assuming these are BRI? Do you have DID on these lines? If so, then it's pretty easy, you just map the extension number to an open DID number. If you don't have DID, then one of the trunks has to have the desired extension set up as it's answer point, which is done in the Trunk Service Assignment form.

If you don't know what any of this stuff is, call your Mitel dealer.
