I have enabled logging incoming calls in SMDR option in the Mitel 3300. The SMDR log shows calls that were picked-up but doesn't show calls that were missed and went to voicemail. What other settings do I need to enable to the SMDR log captures calls that were missed and went to voicemail?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

You need SMDR enabled in COS of anything a trunk may end up on - extensions, voicemail ports, etc.

We only need to monitor the Incoming calls. Do we only need to enable SMDR for External in COS, or should we also enable SMDR for Internal in COS?

Thank you.

The call will typically report the last station to touch the call, not every station

If you are sure the vm is the last station and other devices are reported then check the cos of the vm ports
