Hi,
I am not sure if someone has experienced this and if so maybe they can shed some light on the matter.I have a Mitel 3300 and a generic Sip device configured. I have no issues with the general working of the phone it is only when the customer attempts to cancel a transfer is when we have an issue.
If the caller answers the call on extension 4440 and then attempts to transfer to extension 4441. The transfers starts the external caller is put on hold and the operator attempts the transfer. This all works fine up until extension 4441 does not want to take the call and the user on extension 4440 tries to get the call back. It does not matter what they do as soon as they press cancel or transfer the call is transferred regardless.
The handset is a Yealink T23G and I have also tried a Grandstream 2135. Both handsets do the exact same thing.
I have tried both handsets on other manufactures units and they work fine. I have also changed the settings in the Sip Capabilities on the Mitel but makes no difference.
Has anyone had this issue that can offer any suggestions?
Thanks,
Colin
