I'm not aware of any 54xx series phones.
However, the 53xx phones are still supported and are available through Mitel for purchase.
New-old-stock, refurbished and used phones; are available through resellers all over the world. Amazon and eBay for instance are both flooded with such items.

several 52xx series phones are not supported anymore in v9.
Who has up to date info what Mitel doesn't support anymore?
We have v8 and a few hundred of several 52xx models...
Is it even wise to consider to convert them to the suggested SIP?
How should I do that?
Do I have any programmable buttons afterwards, or is it just a phone without any functionality but calling and receiving calls?
If Billz66 reads this old post or others with info, that would help!
We have a lot of 5212 phones.
We do run an external DHCP server. I even can put all 5212 phones in an other vlan and direct them to an other tftp server if that helps.
(Is only option 129 used to direct the phone to the MivB?)

confirmed 5212 connected to our MiVb 9.0.0.193
Main/Boot load 2.05.00.05 L2Boot Load 02.00.01.07
I had to statically assign an IP address to the phone as the MSL version of DHCP doesn't allow option 128 to be assigned
- should be ok with external DHCP
i think the end of support is now R10 - porb end of this year or early next
From memory you may have to manually upload the 52xx firmware to the new mivb
if you are still on R8 there shouldnt be any issues
we havent many sites with 52xx series but to my knowledge none of them have had a problem working on even the latest r9 (9.1.1.60)
If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
