Mitel 5330e stuck in headset mode

Hey everyone,
I have a older Mitel sx200 ICP system that is running the latest software as far as I know. I also have 4 5330e phones connected at a remote site. This site is connected back to the main site where the sx200 lives via a site to site VPN. 3 of the phones have Mitel bluetooth headset adapters and docks attached to them. Without the headset paired the phones work perfectly. As soon as I pair a headset to a phone the handset stops working. I can not use it for anything. Hitting the speaker button 1 time turns on the headset and pressing it again turns on the speaker option. I do have an option set to enable headset mode in the sx200 but dialing that without a headset paired does nothing and dialing it with a headset paired give me an access denied. I have used headsets on other IP phone on a different sx200 without issue so this is very confusing to me. Does anyone know how to make it so the handset, speaker and headset will function as designed? Also I did confirm that I do not have the handset plugged into the wrong port on the back of the phone.

Thanks!

did you move the jumper from the back of the old phones

from memory the headset module had a link to pass audio - very small - 2 pin sits on phone circuit board

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

No i didn't do anything with any jumpers. All I did was to remove the back blank panel and install the bluetooth module in it's place. I don't recall seeing any jumpers but i can certainly take a look.

its hard to see - very small should be just above the mac address labell approx 50 mm to the right of the ethernet port

there is a white plati socket on the cct board and the jumper goes into that

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

So am I removing the jumper or just changing the position? I will be at the site tomorrow and can look.

you just need to make sure its installed

Ok so i see the spot where it would go and of course it is missing. The headset kits didn't come with one either.. Is there a way to source them? i have some PC jumpers but they are made for 2 pins and i assume wouldn't work for that.

You can use a computer motherboard, or hard drive flea clip

Ok cool. From what i can tell i am jumping the 2 right most pins as you are looking at the phone from the back?

Ok so an update for everyone. Adding in the jumper did not change the function of the phone. When the headset is paired i am still not able to use the handset. Any other thoughts?
