Hi,

I am trying to add new phones to our network but they are getting an error - 'Nak/LeaseOver->reset, Resetting phone...'

If I set a static IP address on the phone, the phone works fine, so it seems that DHCP is a problem.
If I set a DHCP reservation, the phone also works fine!?

it is connecting to a Cisco 3650 and the port is configured as follows:-
switchport access vlan 2
switchport mode access
switchport voice vlan 10
spanning-tree portfast

uhm, o-oh...
I had some work typing this nice FAQ and now Tek-Tip deleted it:-((
I just sent an email to support@engineering.com. Hopefully they can restore the message. But I have no idea if that is the correct emailaddress. Let's wait and see...

for now a quick tip:

I took some screenshot how we do it now: no option 125, but a few others.
1st link: our options, setup globaly
2nd link: filled in specs in the scope option field (below all scopes)
to test, do this on all dhcp servers who are in the ip helper.

If tek-tips reply, I'll let you know!
