Hi

I know that 5060UDP has to be forward to the system but what RTP(media)ports does the Mitel 5000 use

Thanks

Thanks

for the reply but this doc does not tell you what the SIP RTP ports are does it use the same as the handsets (6004-7039/UDP - Voice transmission to 5000)

As I need to port forward them in the router

As this is what I have to do on an Avaya(TCP/UDP 5060 and RTP/UDP 49152 to 53246) NEC(TCP/UDP 5060 and RTP/UDP 10020 to 10053)

Eddie, if you use decent SIP trunks you do not need to foward any ports, not even 5060. Even when the likes of Gamma say you need a huge RTP range open, you really don't maybe 5060 for them but that's it, this is true for Mitel and Avaya :)

"No problem monkey socks

Thanks

will try it we use Voiceflex for our sip trunks as we just had nothing but problems with Gamma
