Mitel 5000 - Seeing Hunt Group Name on ringing

Hello!

Wonder if someone can help

Is there a way to see the Hunt group name on the device when a phone is recieving a call for a hunt group i.e. know how to answer it? Works when dialling internally but when external or through CRA you see the CLI of the external party not the Hunt Group name

Normally this would be ok, but got a company who want to use hunt groups to anser calls for different companies. Like in the MCd using Name tag

Sure there must be a way and i'm missing something as you use the Hunt Groups as ACD in the 5000 and you must be able to see the name before answering anyway?

There are a couple of ways to do this ,,, a dummy hunt (insert name) grp that times out to your working hunt grp ,,,, or a CRA (insert name) that times out to your working hunt grp .... I like the CRAs personally.

If you use a hunt grp , you have to have members , you could use the working grp members , etc
If you use a CRA , you have to remove the day/ngt greetings.

Thanks for that , thought the cra was the was, so you give the cra a name and set timeout to hg?

Thought we tried this, do you have to set the option of propagating original cli to no for that cra?

yes use the CRA as a naming CRA , T/O goes to your Huntgrp ... remove day/ngt greeting.

You may have toggle that option if your not getting a name on the agents phone for the hunt grp.
