Hey guys I have 2 5000's I have them both static addresses. I'm using a dedicated point to point so I don't need a DHCP server (I don't think)I cannot get them to network however I'm not sure what to use as the gateway address? or should I enable DHCP on one machine to take care of both locations.

you would need to enable dhcp on each I would think. it would be much easier than editing the options to limit dhcp address because of license numbers on each system and it would ease troubleshooting with different subnets.

Not sure what to use as the gateway?

If they are on the same subnet, the gateway is not used.

If they are on different subnets then you need to understand gateways before even attempting to network the systems. Gateways are a very basic component, or in other words, you will need to hit the books.
