Mitel 3300 Voicemail to Email

Good afternoon everyone,

I am having an issue with the Voicemail to Email feature on our 3300. It works...most of the time. On occasion however, I get the following series of errors:

It doesn't matter specifically what VM box/email box it is being delivered to, it just seems to happen intermittently.

Any ideas?

We often get complaints with Vmail to email
Intermittant ones normally relate to
- Problems with connectivity to mail server at the time the MCD is trying
- Message size - mail servers normally have a maximum attachment size , and may be rejecting the message

Unfortunately theres not much in the way of logging , you either get an error if it doesnt work or nothing if it does.

You may be able to do a packet cpture and see if that has more information , or check the mail server for errors

Are there any events that correspond with those same dates/times on the SMTP server? It frankly looks like the 3300 is temporarily unable to reach the SMTP server, so the first place I'd look is the log files of anything along the path to look for unusual events happening at the same time that would impact the connectivity between the 2 machines (3300 and SMTP server).
