Hi all,

I have in the past allowed incoming callers to 'press 2 to reach this person's cell phone'. I need now to be able to figure out which users have configured this option on their voicemails. is there someplace I can find this information in the Mitel 3300?

I don't think you can see it on the 3300. You have to go to the voicemail, press 8-2-2 to modify it.

Would exporting the voicemail box data into a spreadsheet show mailboxes that have a cell phone number defined?

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Anyone else and you need to throw it harder.

Loopylou, that's what I've been told by a Mitel expert. In the past we have had to do the same thing (export mailbox data) to see who still had weak passcodes for voicemail.
I've now come to the conclusion that for most things related to Mitel embedded voicemail, we will need to export the mailbox data to get any meaningful data.

Thanks all for responding.

The Personal Directory Numbers do not show up in an Export not are they visable thru the GUI

You might be able to view them by modifying the mailbox to be a Menu node and then view the keys from the MLAA form.

Note: I have never tried this and have no idea what impact there might be on the MB.

thanks for clarifying kwbMitel. Wasn't sure.

This part can be done from a backup

from memory you may also be able to check in the backup in the
\vmail\temp\db\backup\vmail\0000MASTER.DAT file

I think Notebook ++ may help read it if you use a replace string to remove the NULS's

use replace \x00 with space

The file doesn't display nicely but you can see the external numbers

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

Hey Billz66,

Had need of this today. Works like charm.

Noticed the file also has passcodes - file that away for future use
