Upgraded an ancient CX (added memory) from old 8.0 load to 4.0 and then up to 5.0 after making the SDS changes. Planning on bringing it up to 8.0 tomorrow evening.

After upgrading, no errors are showing up, calls inbound work fine. Calls outbound are all getting "Access Denied." Calls to other extensions work fine as well.

COR 1 (no restrictions in the COR)
COS 1 (didn't see anything weird)

There is one physical PRI hooked up to the box, and calls in are coming over that link. I think it has to have something to do with ARS routing, and I have looked through all of it, and it looks alright to me, other than the fact that they have ARS time and locations all filled out, which I have not used before.

Looking up Access Denied didn't get me very far on any of my Mitel resources. Any thoughts on what will stop an outbound call that was working on a previous load fine? I can call in on this one in the AM if anyone is interested in the answer.

Access Denied is usually COR related.

Can you post COR and Routes etc...

Easiest way to test would be to set a phone in a COR Group that has no members in it (i.e. No Restrictions) and try an outbound call.
If that works then you need to look a bit deeper into the ARS.

Actually the easiest way to test would be to use Individual Trunk Access to eliminate ARS altogether.

For some reason, during the upgrade, the system changed Public Access in the COS to no. It seems to be among a handful of individual changes that were made in the system. Other things that were turned off were Park and Auto Answer. Able to get it resolved after looking into it more deeply.

You were coming from a REALLY old system.

It's still odd though

I've seen this done many times not by me, its because during the upgrade when licensing the system the HCI MITAI option was not set correctly as per the current database, after upgrade and the data base is restored all your COS forms get defaulted, if you upgraded with the installer tool and did online licensing you should never have this problem.

If its not broke tweak it..
