Mitel 3300 to NEC SV8100 sip trunks. 1

Hi All,
I have been asked to sip trunk a Mitel 3300 with an NEC SV8100. Has anyone done this before?
I've set my trunks up the way you would for a Asterisk box, but it just doesn't work. Any tips?

Yeah i could do that but that's cheating. As a friend once said, "If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything....."
I think I'm almost there, having problems with authentication. Not sure if the SV8100 will just accept calls from a specific IP address like the Mitel does, or do I have to create a username and password at both ends to start the process.

I reckon you could set the trunks to have no authentication at both ends .

packet capture is probably required to see whats happening

No authentication worked with the SV8100. The SV8100 was by far the easiest SIP trunk service to setup yet.
Now to get the Cisco to Mitel going.
Any help with this one? Its google time.

Cisco...help...nah. IOS is a black art mate.

There both now going....The cisco was much harder. The SV8100 was like a phone system for kids.
